ENS Plus 2 device

LET Medical’s ENS device and its later modifications ENS Plus and ENS Plus 2 can do everything that the EX735 SLIDERs can do, PLUS something that they cannot.

ENS Plus 2 is the second upgrade of the original (standard) ENS device (the ENS Plus being the first one). It is a further improvement of the standard ENS that focuses on the design rather than on advances in the software, which remains pretty much the same as in the ENS Plus.

NEW DESIGN

• ENS Plus 2 has an ergonomic body carved from a single piece of heavy-duty plastic and reinforced with carbon plates, which protects the device from falls and other mechanical damage.
• Changes in the design include quick and convenient battery replacement, which may be critical “in the field” and in any emergency situation.
• The device now also has a sturdy, beautiful handmade case made of thick leather that offers a good additional protection against bumps and falls.

TECHNOLOGY

• Similar to the ENS Plus, the ENS Plus 2 simultaneously supports  4 patented technologies of treatment developed by LET Medical  (SCENAR therapy, COSMODIC therapy, COSMODIC+ therapy, ENS therapy). The new “COSMODIC +” mode was added as the mode that strengthens the unique regenerative effect of COSMODIC.
• Also as the ENS Plus, the ENS Plus 2 is a “smart” device that includes some elements of AI. Besides the 4 acting technologies (SCENAR, COSMODIC, COSMODIC+, ENS) that can be used in four respective “mono” modes, the ENS Plus includes the “A” (Auto) mode. Here, you do not have to guess which mode/technology to use. The AI module of the device automatically calculates the optimal ratio of the four technologies at each moment and dynamically changes it based on sophisticated mathematical models of the standard ENS behaviour over time in different clinical situations.
• The ENS Plus 2 also offers “Modulations” of a signal that can be added to any mode. These are the signal adjustments that allow to optimize the device influence on the upper (“H”) or lower (“L”) body. Modulations can also be universal (“B”) or absent (“No”).
• Professional version of the ENS Plus allows you to design the action mode setting yourself – see further below.
• Additional resonance frequencies have been added to all 4 bands of the ENS Plus 2 device. This provides a steadier recovery effect. 

INDICATION (similar to the standard ENS and the ENS Plus)

• Two display options. Information on the screen can be displayed as a circular chart or a bar chart.
• Image rotation. When applying device together with other treatment manipulations, the image on a display can be rotated so that it is convenient to use with left or right hand.
• AMOLED display. A graphic full-color display on organic LEDs (OLED). High resolution and power-saving.

ASSESSMENT (similar to the standard ENS and the ENS Plus)

• ENS Plus 2 offers a separate Assessment Module that walks a user through a full-body assessment procedure displaying the results in graphic form. That way you know exactly where to apply the device in order to get the best results in the fastest way possible.
• Assessment implements the patented method of SCENAR therapy: selection of the skin zones for treatment according to diagnostic skin readings (“free readings”, readings on paravertebral roots, spinous processes, for men and women, readings on outlets of trigeminal nerve — “6 points”, etc.). This way one can get a full picture of the condition of both local areas and the whole body.
• Reading results are saved and stored in the patient’s file as bar charts, superimposed on the image of a human body. Such visualization allows the user to instantly assess the general condition of the body and select the appropriate protocol of treatment.
•  The device also keeps personal files for each client that store the results of their respective assessment procedures. This valuable feature allows a user to do a comparative analysis during consecutive sessions. (The device’s memory is enlarged and can store data for up to 1000 patients and up to 2000 readings records.)

NEW! ENS Plus 2 has a built-in Wi-Fi module. It is possible to contact the LET Medical server directly from the device for updates and repairs from anywhere in the world. Also, when purchasing an external electrode of the latest model, you can immediately upgrade the device to work with it. And if you even face a problem of a complete software erasure, the device can restore itself via the server using Wi-Fi. (The modern USB Type-C connector also allows you to fix device failures and update software in places where there are no Wi-Fi networks.)

EXTERNAL ELECTRODE OPTION

The ENS Plus 2 accepts remote external electrodes. There are options of working with an external electrode independently – or simultaneously with two electrodes at once  (the”ski” electrodes of the device and the external electrode).

• It is versatile: it is suitable for both analog and digital external electrodes.
• It is user-friendly: connecting and disconnecting the external electrodes is easy and fast.
• It is easy to repair: a worn-out cable usually accounts for 99.9% of external electrode failures. and with the magnetic connector replacing it with another one is fast and easy.
• The magnetic connector prevents accidental damage to the device or the electrode: when the cable is stretched or the external electrode is moved suddenly, the magnetic mechanism easily detaches the cable from the device, preventing the device from falling and the cable from being torn.
• The current magnetic connector will also work with remote electrodes “of the future” (which are yet being designed and built) – LET Medical took care of this in advance.

ENS Plus 2 BASIC FEATURES

• 5 action modes in the Standard version of the device (SCENAR, COSMODIC, COSMODIC+, ENS, A-Auto) and over 20 “mixed” action modes in the Professional version with advanced settings (can be designed individually – see further below).
• 4 Modulations of the acting signal: No – no modulation, H – “head” or upper body, B – “body” or universal, L – “legs” or lower body.
• When is A (Auto) mode, the AI module of the device automatically calculates the optimal ratio of the four technologies at each moment and dynamically changes it based on sophisticated mathematical models of the standard ENS behaviour over time in different clinical situations.
• Starts treatment immediately using all functions of automatic control and maintains perfect fine-tuning via user mode for automatic correction.
• Corrects manual settings of action modes if they are wrong.
• The ENS Plus 2 automatically switches to the more delicate impulse (SENSO mode) while working on mucous membranes with remote attachments (such as vaginal and rectal electrodes). ATTENTION! Even though the SENSO mode can be manually disabled, LET Medical does not recommend it to prevent an accidental damage of the fragile tissues.
• “Dynamic adaptation” mode automatically manages stimulation during a prolonged action. (Dynamic adaptation does not work with the modes with modulation and with the SENSO mode.)
• Turns on manually or on touch. Touch switch-on in automatic mode for urgent instant use.
• Maximum simplified control — only one button and an encoder (scroll switch) which provide quick and convenient access to the most important settings. High level of operational comfort. Easy and quick operation.
• AMOLED display. A graphic full-color display on organic LEDs (OLED). High resolution and power-saving.

• Regulation of energy level can be automatic or manual. Action energy control has also received an adaptive algorithm that adapts to the treatment procedure both in automatic and in manual mode. When acting on mucous membranes or working with children, the action energy level can be adjusted in increments of 1%. At the same time, it is possible to increase the action energy level, if necessary, to maximum values almost instantly without any additional switching (for example, in shock situations).
• Sound and vibro indication; individual settings of sound and vibrosignal for a particular manipulation.
• The “quiet” mode allows to turn the sound off and activate a vibro-signal to indicate the reaction.
• A timer of action upon the area, timer of the total procedure, a timer of the resource of the device, switch-off timer.
• Easy and precise assessment and selection of the best area to treat. The graphics in Active Area Search mode are simple and easy to understand. The separate Assessment Module provides for the ability to take “free readings” of the area (guided readings in the Professional version).
• The device keeps accurate records and regulates the time of use by medical personnel or by a lessee.
• Three wide pure silver detachable on-device electrodes.
• “Magnetic connector” port for remote electrodes, which gives you a variety of convenient treatment options allowing to work with an external electrode independently – or simultaneously with two electrodes at once  (the”ski” electrodes of the device and the external electrode).
• Automatic tuning into remote electrodes; automatic calibration of the electrodes through the menu.
• The device can be restored to factory settings and in many cases fine-tuned or even repaired distantly through the codes.
• NEW! ENS Plus 2 has a built-in Wi-Fi module. You can contact the LET Medical server directly from the device for updates, repairs, software upgrades, or upgrades to working with new “smart” remote electrodes (existing or upcoming). The device can even restore itself via the server using Wi-Fi in a rare case of a complete software erasure. Similar to the standard ENS and the ENS Plus, the ENS Plus 2 is represented in two versions:
Standard and Professional

ENS Plus 2 is supplied in basic (Standard) software, but with maximum automation for the average user who is not familiar with the basics of medicine. It is also possible to expand to a Professional level with a full set of functionalities via a server or manually via an exchange of codes with LET Medical (LET Health LLC assists in the process). 

STANDARD version has the most necessary and optimal settings for personal use.

• 5 action modes: 4 mono-modes (SCENAR, COSMODIC, COSMODIC+, ENS) and one A (Auto) mode with dynamic automatic “sliding” of the acting impulse within and between all four technologies depending on “here and now” treatment situation.
• When is A (Auto) mode, the AI module of the device automatically calculates the optimal ratio of the four technologies at each moment and dynamically changes it based on sophisticated mathematical models of the standard ENS behaviour over time in different clinical situations.

PROFESSIONAL version with advanced settings (which are not available in basic version) that can be helpful for professional COSMODIC ENS therapists in clinical practice.

• Many additional action modes that can be individually crafted for optimum efficiency. Overall, there are three main types of modes in the ENS Plus:
  • mono-modes (SCENAR, COSMODIC, COSMODIC+, ENS,) – present in both the Standard and the Professional versions of the device;
  • A (Auto) mode with dynamic automatic “sliding” of the acting impulse within and between all four technologies depending on “here and now” treatment situation – also present in both the Standard and the Professional versions of the device;
  • individual “mixed” modes or slider-modes (SCENAR-COSMODIC, SCENAR-COSMODIC-COSMODIC+, SCENAR-COSMODIC-COSMODIC+-ENS, COSMODIC-COSMODIC+, COSMODIC-COSMODIC+-ENS, COSMODIC+-ENS), where the acting impulse is “sliding” within and between the mixed technologies – you can use all of them in the Professional version of the device or only some of them set individually.
  • The option with advanced professional settings of ENS Plus 2 has integrated the technology for intelligent control of action modes. Here, the device will allow you to select the settings you need from more than 20 modes with “one movement” of the controls, without using special knowledge. The user, being guided by symptoms of a disorder, constructs the settings from two short lines. At the same time, the settings will NOT allow the user to create unacceptable combinations of modes. 
• Assessment Module: “free readings”, readings on spinous processes, paravertebral roots (“3 pathways”), exit points of the trigeminal nerve (“6 points”), separate readings for men and women – in digital format.
• An additional function of automatic adaptation to remote electrodes, which ensures undistorted transmission of the acting impulse along the electrode wires (especially when the complicated “mixed” modes are activated). In technical terms, this function is called the “compensator of the dynamic wire capacity”.

WARRANTY

Your LET Medical ENS Plus 2 comes with an 18-months manufacturer’s warranty, which begins from the date you receive your device. The warranty covers any malfunctioning of the device except for the ones that happen due to careless handling (dropping or crushing the device, water or fire damage, battery leakage etc.).
