SCENAR, COSMODIC & ENS Devices: How to Choose
SCENAR, COSMODIC & ENS Devices: How to Choose
No Comments
Twelve devices. Prices from about $1,600 to over $14,000. Names that all start to blur together — PS705, EX715, VX735, ENS Plus 2. If you’ve scrolled the LET Health range and felt a little lost, you’re in good company. The devices genuinely look alike. What’s inside them — and who each one is really for — is where they part ways.
This guide cuts through it. We’ll sort the whole range into three simple families, give you a side-by-side table you can scan in a minute, and describe each device in plain English — so you can walk away with one or two models that fit the way you’d actually use them, not a headache.
One important note before we start. This is a guide to choosing a device — not medical advice. These devices are intended for pain-relief use; they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. In the United States, SCENAR devices are cleared by the FDA for pain relief only. If you have a serious medical condition, a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, unexplained symptoms, a pregnancy-related concern, or any doubt about whether electrotherapy is right for you, please talk to a qualified healthcare professional first.
The 30-second version
Almost everyone fits into one of three groups. Find yours, and you’ve already narrowed twelve devices down to three or four:
- You want something simple for home, family, and travel. You care about ease of use, toughness, and value — not menus and modes. → Look at the home companions.
- You want more feedback and a bit more power. A screen, stronger output, maybe combined SCENAR + COSMODIC — for committed personal use or hands-on work. → Look at the semi-professional all-rounders.
- You want the full toolkit. Assessment tools, remote electrodes, the most advanced technology — for a practice or serious long-term use at home. → Look at the professional platforms.
There’s no single “best” device. The right one matches how you’ll actually use it, your experience, your budget, and how much you want to learn. Price alone is the worst way to decide — more on that below.

Curious what the technology names actually mean? They’re explained here: SCENAR, COSMODIC, and ENS.
Family 1 — the home companions
Tough, automated, and refreshingly simple. No screens here — just clear LED lights and a couple of controls. These are the devices you keep in a drawer, a handbag, or the glove box and reach for when something twinges. If you’re new to all this, you almost certainly start in this family.
DOVE — $1,595

The friendliest way in, and the one its inventor fondly calls “the people’s device.” It strips everything back to essentials: switch on, choose a mode and an energy level, and let it do the rest. There’s no screen to read and very little to get wrong — which is exactly the point. If you want something a grandparent could pick up without a manual, this is where most people begin.
Who it’s for: first-timers, families, and anyone who wants simple over clever. See full details & photos →
COSMODIC PS705Fe — $2,150

The most affordable genuine COSMODIC device, and built like it expects to be dropped. It has the same rugged, do-everything body as its silver sibling, but with stainless-steel electrodes to keep the price down. Shockproof, easy on batteries, and perfectly happy living in a travel bag or a first-aid kit until the day you need it.
Who it’s for: travelers and value-minded home users who still want real COSMODIC. See full details & photos →
COSMODIC PS705Ag — $2,850

The same near-indestructible little workhorse, upgraded to pure silver electrodes. If you like the idea of a no-screen, do-it-all home device but would rather have silver than steel, this is the sweet spot — straightforward to run, tough enough for the road, and one of the more popular “first serious COSMODIC” choices in the range.
Who it’s for: home users who want silver without stepping up to a display model. See full details & photos →
Family 2 — the semi-professional all-rounders
Here you gain a display and, in two of the three, combined SCENAR + COSMODIC. These suit experienced personal users and hands-on practitioners who want more information and more capability — without the price of the full professional platforms.
COSMODIC EX715 — $3,450

The elegant one. Originally designed as a compact device with cosmetology in mind, the EX715 is small enough to slip into a purse, yet it adds an OLED screen for clearer feedback than the LED-only home models. If you want COSMODIC with a display and real pocketability, this is the refined little pick of the range.
Who it’s for: people who want a compact COSMODIC device with a screen. See full details & photos →
SC-CS VX735L — $3,650

This is where SCENAR and COSMODIC first came together in a single device. The VX735 has a reputation for being fast and no-nonsense — strong, dependable, and right at home with stiff muscles, tendons, and the kind of knocks you pick up on the field. The “L” is the stainless-steel version that delivers that same character at a friendlier price.
Who it’s for: value-minded users focused on muscles, joints, and sports-type aches. See full details & photos →
SC-CS VX735Ag — $4,450

The same bold, fast personality as the VX735L, now with silver electrodes. Its clear, mode-based controls — including a strong SCENAR-MAX setting — make it a direct, get-to-work device rather than a delicate one. If the range had a dependable everyday workhorse, this would be it.
Who it’s for: active users and practitioners who want a rugged, fast SCENAR + COSMODIC device. See full details & photos →
Family 3 — the professional platforms
The serious end of the range, in two branches. The EX735 SLIDERs blend SCENAR and COSMODIC automatically; the ENS line adds a third technology — ENS — on top. All can be used at home, but they reward a little learning and give you the most flexibility, assessment tools, and remote-electrode options.
EX735Cu Slider x2 — $8,250

Your first real step into professional territory. “Slider” means the device blends SCENAR and COSMODIC for you, shifting the balance moment to moment instead of making you pick modes by hand. This is the copper-electrode version — the more economical way into a genuinely pro-level tool.
Who it’s for: those who want a first professional slider at the lower entry price. See full details & photos →
EX735Ag Slider x2 — $8,650

Identical slider smarts to the copper x2, finished with pure silver electrodes. It runs on full autopilot, shows everything on an OLED screen, and can unlock up to 16 action modes with the Professional license. A serious device that’s still genuinely simple to switch on and use.
Who it’s for: committed home users and practitioners who prefer silver. See full details & photos →
EX735Ag Slider x3 — $9,450

The top of the SLIDER family. It pushes the COSMODIC side further and — the key difference from the x2 — adds a separate Assessment Module that guides you through a full-body assessment and maps the results on screen, so you can see which areas to focus on. If you want the most capable SCENAR + COSMODIC device before stepping into the ENS world, this is the one. (A Professional license is available separately.)
Who it’s for: experienced users and practitioners who want maximum slider capability plus assessment. See full details & photos →
ENS — $9,950

The doorway to LET Medical’s flagship platform. On top of SCENAR and COSMODIC it introduces the ENS technology, and pairs it with an AMOLED screen, a built-in Assessment Module, and support for remote electrodes. It’s a true professional device that still stays calm and approachable enough to use at home.
Who it’s for: advanced home users and practitioners ready for the ENS line. See full details & photos →
ENS Plus — $12,950

The first upgrade of the ENS. It adds the COSMODIC+ mode and an automatic Auto mode that the manufacturer describes as using AI elements to balance all four technologies as you work — so instead of choosing a mode yourself, you can let the device adjust the blend. There’s also an optional rechargeable “Accu” version that charges like a phone.
Who it’s for: committed users who want more than the standard ENS, without the ruggedized body. See full details & photos →
ENS Plus 2 — $14,350

The flagship — and the toughest device LET Medical builds. It keeps everything the ENS Plus offers (all four technologies plus the automatic Auto mode) and wraps it in a reinforced carbon-plate body that shrugs off knocks, adds quick battery swaps, and includes a built-in Wi-Fi module for updates and service from anywhere in the world. It’s built to keep working when conditions aren’t gentle.
It’s in high demand, so it’s worth asking about availability before you order.
Who it’s for: practitioners, frequent travelers, and anyone who wants the most rugged, complete platform. See full details & photos →
“Standard” or “Professional”? Don’t overthink it
Several of the ENS and SLIDER devices come in two versions. The Standard version gives you the most useful settings with maximum automation — ideal when you want the benefit of a capable device without designing advanced setups yourself. The Professional version unlocks many more modes and deeper assessment options, and is usually activated with a LET Medical PRO license.
Here’s the honest part: if you’re buying for yourself or your family, “Professional” isn’t automatically better. Extra functionality only helps when you know how to use it. If you’ll be working with different clients, it’s worth it. If not, Standard is often the smarter, simpler choice.
Why the cheapest option isn’t always the smartest buy
It’s tempting to sort by price and pick the lowest number. But the better question isn’t “what’s cheapest?” — it’s “which device will I actually use, correctly and often?” A simple device you reach for every day beats an advanced one that intimidates you into leaving it in the box.
That’s why training matters as much as the hardware. Every LET Health device comes with Virtual Training at no extra cost — 50+ articles and 80+ videos — to get you confident quickly. A powerful device without training can feel confusing; a simpler device with good training can run circles around it. Factor that in, not just the sticker price.
Still deciding? Use this shortcut
- Want the simplest, lowest-cost start → DOVE or PS705Fe
- Want silver COSMODIC for home → PS705Ag
- Want something compact with a screen → EX715
- Want strong SCENAR + COSMODIC for muscles and sport → VX735Ag or VX735L
- Want the most capable slider → EX735Ag Slider x3
- Want the ENS platform → ENS → ENS Plus → ENS Plus 2
Still torn between two models?
That’s completely normal — these are advanced devices, and the right pick depends on your goals, your experience, and how you’ll use it. Tell us a little about that and we’ll help you compare, explain what’s included with each, and point you to the model that fits — before you spend a cent.
Quick questions, quick answers
Is COSMODIC just a fancy TENS unit?
Not quite. Both are forms of electrical stimulation, but a TENS unit sends a fixed signal for pain relief, while SCENAR, COSMODIC, and ENS are adaptive — they read how your body responds and adjust the signal as they go. The differences across the LET Health range come down to how much feedback, adaptation, and sophistication each device offers.
What should a complete beginner buy?
For most beginners the DOVE or a PS705 (Fe or Ag) is the most sensible start: simple, tough, and affordable. If you’d like a screen and a bit more feedback from day one, the EX715 is worth a look too.
Which ones are meant for professionals?
The EX735 SLIDERs and the ENS, ENS Plus, and ENS Plus 2. The ENS Plus 2 is the most advanced and most rugged of the group.
Do I really need the ENS Plus 2, or is the ENS enough?
The standard ENS is plenty if you want a true professional ENS device that’s still easy to use at home. Step up to the ENS Plus 2 if you want the most advanced current model — reinforced body, COSMODIC+, the automatic Auto mode, advanced assessment, and Wi-Fi updates — especially for demanding or long-term use.
Silver, copper, or stainless steel — does it matter?
Several models come with different electrode metals at different prices (PS705Ag vs PS705Fe, VX735Ag vs VX735L, EX735Ag vs EX735Cu). Silver is the premium option; copper and stainless steel are more economical. Each product page spells out exactly what ships in the box.
Is training included?
Yes — every device comes with Virtual Training (50+ articles and 80+ videos) at no extra cost, to get you up and running properly.
Should I check with you before ordering?
Please do, especially for high-demand devices like the ENS and ENS Plus 2, which can be on backorder. And if you’re unsure which model fits, a quick chat saves you guessing.
